a bridge too far?
As we left Keene and headed eastwards, I began to feel a bit worn-out. We had covered quite a distance and been so many places in a short period of time, that I simply couldn't take much more.
I could write off some of the exhaustion on the problems we had with the RV and the subsequent delays and frustration, but the enormous amount of impressions I was trying to absorb was also making a significant impact.
No matter what, I needed time to recuperate, or else I wouldn't stay the distance.
