the green spot.

The Green Spot where Mike Cherim lives with his family, looked green alright. We parked our RV near the entrance late in the evening the 20th, and stayed till early morning the 22th.

I would have liked to stay longer, but – as mentioned on previous page – I was pretty exhausted and not anywhere near my usual self at this point in my “round New England” trip. The fact is that I had to go to bed when the sun where at its highest, and didn't wake up till the sun had all but disappeared in the west.
Not very social behavior on my part, I have to admit. Sorry about that, Mike.

the lost web.

According to the map there should be “a lost web” somewhere in the swamps near Mike's place, but I couldn't find it – anywhere. Had a nice walk around the trail though.

Morning sunlight on a creek in the woods, always creates interesting images. The full-sized pictures look marvelous, so it's a pity I can only release size-limited ones.

wrong side of the road?

The neighbor across the road clearly didn't believe in the freedom to roam, but such an attitude seems to be quite normal in the USA. According to Mike the “warning” didn't mean much, so I extended my morning walk into that part of the woods too.

Mike's dog wasn't allowed entrance to our RV, but otherwise we didn't put up any restrictions.
