Papoose Pond Resort.

Situated less than half an hour drive west of the town of Norway.

A fine campground with good beaches at the end of a sizable lake, with good space and all major facilities for small to medium sized RVs like ours. Still early in the season, so not too crowded.

an overview.

A big, clear, map placed near the campground entrance, provided information for exploring the area. Perfect.

practicality.

Campgrounds that have all necessary connections for electricity, water and sewage grouped together, makes things easy for RV users.

a warning

those damned laptops.

One can hardly survive without a laptop these days, and being able to connect with the rest of the world from anywhere at anytime, is a necessity. As with most campgrounds, Papoose Pond Resort had WiFi – although limited in range to an area near the office buildings when we were there.

We would have preferred good WiFi coverage around our own campfire, so we could have wasted some more time looking at those screens.
