The fifth wrapper (#superwrapper3 - solid aqua border) holds all content-containers in place.
The sixth wrapper (#content - dashed blue border) holds the main content container in place, and is lifted into the header area.
The seventh wrapper (#col-3 - dashed red border) centers the main content. A right-padding offset main content sections away from the right column area.

All these containers use the same horizontal space, and adjust to the real page-wrapper and their own max-width. The apparent empty space along the right side of fifth wrapper is where Internet Explorer dumps all its bugs, which is the main reason this layout holds so well in that bugger.
