Haven't released anything new so far in 2009, but the latest pieces from 2008 might be worth a read.
- Opera is still going strong, and it doesn't hurt that other browsers are emulating its features.
- Firefox is coming around nicely, so maybe we can finally start introducing more potent CSS.
- In case you didn't know; I have an issue with dated material on the web – there's too much of it.
- A new list of web design related links has been introduced, to let interested visitors know where I get my inspiration from.
no twitter, no blog, no comments…
I'm becoming more and more convinced that my decision not to have a regular blog, with comments, is the right one. Might still introduce a “closed circuit blog” one day, but I'm in no hurry.
Have received a few invitations to participate/follow on twitter, but I'm low on time and general interest in small-talk so I've passed.
Web based communication is evolving, but I still prefer the humble email before the many alternatives. Probably a sign that I'm getting older, and that I'm more interested in substance than volume.
farming in these snowy hills…
Enough snow on the ground at the moment to make daily farmwork slightly harder, but not enough to bother moving it around. Four legs and four-wheel drives can cope – for now.
Neither I nor anyone else on our farm like that white stuff, but we're not in charge of the weather department.
The only thing winter-chill is good for is that it allows us to take out timber without doing too much damage on roads and soil. So, quite a few truck-loads of timber have been hauled out from our woods the last few weeks. Now they only have to remove the log-piles from the storage-area alongside the main road before too long, as comes spring our cows want their pasture back.
